Fire Damage – Frederick Home
Fire damage at this Frederick home started in the kitchen with an electrical short in an overhead fan. The fire damaged the kitchen and the adjacent breakfast room. Both the breakfast room and the kitchen had significant fire and smoke damage along with residue from the fire extinguisher and water damage from the firefighting effort. A lot of cleanup would be required to begin the restoration project. Some demolition of the damaged ceiling and drywall from the walls would likely be necessary before the smoke residue problem was tackled. All affected surfaces would require drying. Once the smoke residue had been removed, and the drying process completed the construction to replace the damaged areas could begin. SERVPRO of Frederick County could handle all phases of the restoration process.
